This is the Canvas site for DGST 101: Introduction to Digital Studies, Sections 2 and 3 (10:00 or 11:00 MWF). Here in Canvas, you can read the full syllabus, learn about the assignments, and, eventually, access your grades and feedback. I will also use Canvas announcements to communicate important things.

There are some other websites and resources that you should be aware of, listed below.

		1. Your Own Website A website site you will claim, build and own. You'll set this up in the first week of class. If you don't already have a site, either wait for instruction or talk to me before getting your domain.

		2. DGST101.NET A website for common resources among all four sections, and a platform for showcasing your work.

		3. Slack Slack is a tool for collaboration and communication -- for this class, it's a place to interact outside of our normal meeting time and with students in other sections. At your earliest convenience, join our class's Slack domain at http://dgst101.slack.com. I recommend also installing the Slack app on your phone and/or other computational devices.

		4. Twitter Twitter is a place to talk about and share your work when you want it to reach an audience beyond this class. Use hashtag #dgst101.
